Editorial Policy

Educational Administration publishes explanatory articles, research digests and reference resources on educational leadership, school organisation, supervision, and education policy and planning. The site is edited by Dr. Ramazan Asar, who is responsible for everything published here.

What we publish

Our content falls into four broad groups. Topic pages explain key concepts in the field and the research behind them. Research Digests present English summaries of graduate theses completed in Turkey. Resource pages describe journals, conferences, measurement instruments and datasets that researchers in educational administration commonly use. Reports present our own analyses of research trends in the field.

Sources

We rely on peer-reviewed literature, graduate theses, official documents and the publications of recognised international bodies such as the OECD and UNESCO. Factual claims are tied to an identifiable source, and references are listed at the end of each article. Where a source is not openly accessible, we say so. We do not present secondary summaries as if they were original research.

Accuracy and updates

Some of our pages describe matters that change over time: regulations, journal indexing, publication fees, conference dates. Each of these pages shows the date of its last review. We aim to review such pages at least once a year, and sooner when we learn of a change.

Independence

Our editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers. Advertising on the site is served by third-party networks, and we do not choose individual advertisements. Inclusion of a journal, conference, instrument or dataset in our resource pages is not paid for and does not imply endorsement.

On a small number of pages we mention a manuscript editing service with which the editor is affiliated. Such mentions are always identified as such and never appear inside research digests or topic explanations.
