Corrections Policy

We try to get things right, and when we do not, we correct them openly.

Reporting an error

If you find a factual error, an incorrect citation or an outdated statement, please write to ramazanasar@yahoo.com. It helps if you include the page address, the passage in question and, where possible, a source for the correct information. We read every report and aim to respond within seven days.

How we correct

When an error affects the substance of a page, such as a wrong finding, date, figure or regulation, we correct it and add a dated note at the end of the page describing what was changed. Minor corrections of spelling, formatting or broken links are made without a note.

If a correction concerns a Research Digest, we may also contact the author of the original thesis before making the change.

Updates

Pages that describe changing information, such as regulations, journal details or conference dates, show the date of their last review. An update reflecting a change in the world is not treated as a correction, but the review date is always renewed.
